In 2009-2013 he built from scratch a development and maintenance services for Power Generation division department within ABB group Information Systems Delivery Center in Poland – an organization unit composed over 120 business and programming consultants providing strategic systems for the whole value chain in power products and systems division in ABB group. The department, through its competences, had developed the entire software development, project management, quality assurance and customer-side implementation processes. The development of the department took place in three main directions: ABB commercial software, product and domain management, architecture.

In 2013-2015 Przemysław Zakrzewski was associate with ABB Poland as Chief Information Officer) focusing on the development and implementation of innovation development strategies for people and IT systems in the country. He has created a solid foundation on for “continuous improvement” culture with a strong   emphasis on embracing IT organization as required pillar to support growth and business transformation. He introduced flexibility and efficiency in sourcing activities.  With his clear customer-oriented IS strategy, the organization has improved project management, streamlined application maintenance processes and end customer support. During this time he created a management office for internal and external service providers.

He won the title of CIO Diamond “Vox populi – vox CIO” in 2015.

Since 2016, Przemysław has been heading the Polish Software Development Center of the ABB Group that creates software for its customers in the electricity market worldwide. The unit creates systems and solutions that support power plants, provide energy transmission and distribution, and control energy production. Co-responsible for the development and maintenance of the ABB Ability: cloud-based (Azure) platform for digital and the IoT solutions of ABB Group.
